The girl's room is as it's going to be for now. I had all these lofty goals but I'm still trying to be good and take things easy until our little dovie comes. And it will change soon after that when we move the crib in. It's going to have to be a high functioning little space once it's in but it will work.
Her headboard is the sweetest thing, I should have taken a picture of it, but I think we paid five bucks for that at a garage sale we randomly past one day. The desk was free on Craigslist. The chair too, was Craigslist. I think almost everything else is from TJ Maxx.
I take it back, that heart print is from Rifle Paper Co. and I made that little cumber bun pillow.
That's it for now. I'm sure it will be an evolving space. I know I'll always have some project I want to do.
One day I want to make a valance for the curtains like this one. I wish I could remember where I found this picture, I've had it saved away forever.

ReplyDeleteHi--random lurker here....so I don't know where that particular valence came from but if you go to Little Green Notebook she has a very easy and inespensive tutorial for making those--I think she calls them pelment boxes or something. Anyway, just thought it might help! Your girls room is beautiful!
