little green thumbs

Having our little garden have been a new adventure for us this year. We planted tomatoes, zucchini, corn, and pumpkins big and little. I not sure what we were thinking but we planted three zucchini plants. It didn't seem like a lot at the time but they have grown like crazy. One zucchini plant should be the limit. They have done way too well and so we've been making zucchini bread and zucchini chocolate cake (don't knock it until you try it!) and lots of roasted zucchini with red potatoes. I'm trying this zucchini "spaghetti" tonight, we'll see if the little man with eat that.

  3. I can' wait to teach our little peanut about gardening when she's a little older... i'm sure her grandpa is excited too! :)

I've heard good things about chocolate zucchini cake, but never tried it. Had a zucchini muffin before and it was pretty good. Similar to carrot cake... kind of haha
