I'm awful about getting pictures of me and my kids. Mostly because I feel silly doing it and because Brett up to this point has had this fear of touching my camera. I know there are plenty of others way to get pictures of yourself but then I feel reeeeally silly. But that Brett, he showed a little interest lately and of course I jumped on the chance to teach him a bit. It's sort of nice to be the one that knows something once in awhile!
I read this post by Allison Tate about getting in the picture with your kids.
This is what she said and I feel the same exactly the same way,
" I want them to have pictures of me. I want them to see the way I looked at them, see how much I loved them. I am not perfect to look at and I am not perfect to love, but I am perfectly their mother."
I sure love this picture and love your face. So so glad you married an Idaho boy (and a Rexburg one!) I really lucked out! Can't wait to see you again at Christmas!
