bits of bear lake and news of better days

Some scattered photos from our Bear Lake trip. I spent it mostly with goo at my side at the pool. She was not a fan so we lounged on the chairs while the kids jumped off the diving board into dad's arms.

These are the days, this summer.  Our little boy is doing so, so much better in the last month and with that a huge weight has been lifted off our shoulders. Just our trip to Bear Lake was really a turning point. He's doing so much better and it shows. It feels like magic. Usually when we've stayed anywhere but our own house he gets sick and he gets car sick so easily. But the whole trip was reaction free. Brett and I keep looking at each other and grinning. His frequency of reactions has gone down so drastically. His improved health changes everything in our life. It has truly been an answer to prayers and now every day feels like a miracle. Seeing him go through a day without having a belly ache or waking up and realizing he didn't cry during the night feels like fantasy. All of a sudden life feels so much easier and I can't stop talking about it. I found this company called Neurobiologics that created this cream that is supposed to balance your immune responses. Hopefully it keeps helping and we continue to see improvements in him. I have been spreading the word and lots of Brett's patients are trying it.
Sweet girl all tuckered out from all that swimming. With her bandaid because she's cute like that and always has to have one on.

  1. I am so happy for you that he's improving! I want to know what you're doing that's working or if you think he's just starting to grow out of things. Whatever it is- I'm excited for you!

  2. Christina, we have actually been using this immune balancing topical cream. It's intended for allergies and auto-immune diseases. I wonder if it would help other kids with asthma and allergies. It's from a company called Neurbioligics and I completely credit his improvements to it. I can email you the link!
