tis the season

i've been trying to pull out my big camera once a day this month. i've been far from perfect but it will do. being a mom is hard at Christmas time, i thought i understood that but this year has seemed like the list is much longer than usual. there is so much i want my kids to experience and it just plain takes a lot of work. on the other hand it is so much fun having these little people around to experience this magical season through their eyes. i think of all the memories that they will have, hopefully of the simple things like playing in the snow and cooking and just hanging out with each other and it makes it worth it.
