feels like summer

Some sweet faces covered in watermelon juice. Magoo's first watermelon. She devoured several pieces and didn't stop scowling the whole time. She was seriously loving that treat.

We couldn't stop laughing at how intense she was about that watermelon. She's in her own world sometime and I love it. 

apple harvest

We picked more apples yesterday. Brett only fell out of the tree once. He was getting a little too daring with the ladder.

The apple trees in our yard make me so terribly happy. I love the smell of them baking. We've already made lots of yummy apple things, applesauce and lots of apple crisp. I think we are going to having to do some caramel apples this year.
