Point Loma

We headed to the Cabrillo National Monument and the old Point Loma lighthouse while we were in San Diego. The views were incredible and between the tide pools and the sweeping views it's one of those "you just have to go" places. This light house is one of the first on the west coast and is something like 150 years old. It is a museum now with each room decorated as if it was still lived in. It was so charming. It's amazing that a family lived in it for so long, for three generations. We drove through the cemetery of the war veterans and felt humbled by how far the graves can be seen.
