my fingers are crossed

We put in an offer on a house and after lots of counteroffering we finally got everything situated. We still have the appraisal and inspection to work out and if that goes well we are set. I really love this one. It's not perfect, which is exactly what I love about it. There will be projects in the future.  Wish me luck!

house hunting

We spent a good portion of our weekend house hunting. In my head I thought it would go much differently, to be honest. I guess that's why they calling it hunting. Of course I'm happy and so, so very grateful that we are finally at this point. It would make it a bit more fun if we were looking at houses like this one, don't you think?
